What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Ninefold website and its educational TCM constitution self-assessment. It describes information handled through your browser when you visit the site or use the assessment.

Assessment responses stay on your device

Your questionnaire responses, in-progress assessment state and displayed result are calculated in your browser. We do not send your responses or constitution result to our application server, and we do not create a user account or ask for your name, email address or health record.

In-progress answers save automatically in browser local storage when available. Completed reports, their answers and seven-day observation notes save only when you choose Save on this device. Up to five reports are kept; saving another replaces the oldest. Notes are not saved automatically. Use Save changes after editing. On a shared device, download your reflection instead of storing it here.

Usage measurement

We use ShipSolo Analytics to understand aggregate site use, such as page visits and whether an assessment was started, saved, completed, shared or had its language changed. We do not intentionally include questionnaire answers or constitution results in those events.

Like most web services, our analytics and delivery providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as pages requested, browser or device characteristics, referral information and an approximate location derived from an IP address.

Preferences and browser storage

The language you choose is represented by the page URL. Browser local storage holds in-progress answers and any reflections and notes you explicitly save on this device. It is not used to build an advertising profile.

How information is shared

We use service providers that help host, protect and measure the website. They may process limited information only to provide those services. We do not sell questionnaire responses, and we do not sell personal information for targeted advertising.

Your choices

You can delete a saved reflection and its notes from the home page. Clearing this site’s browser data removes all local progress and saved reports. Downloaded files are separate copies and must be deleted separately. The Share button shares the quiz link, without your answers, notes or result. You can use browser settings or privacy tools to limit analytics requests.
